Meet Ruth
My name is Ruth Caves, and I’m running for Assembly in Wisconsin’s 57th district, because I believe Wisconsin deserves a legislature that works for us!
It’s time to restore dignity to politics in the heart of our state.
Assembly Republicans have been undermining our democracy and freedoms for too long. This November, we can take back our state from their extremist agenda and build a legislature that works for Wisconsin.
In the Assembly, I will fight to:
Preserve and expand women’s health care including abortion access.
Strengthen our public schools.
Conserve Wisconsin’s beautiful natural environment.
Support stricter gun laws to keep our children and families safe.
Repeal Act 10 to restore union membership and collective bargaining rights.
Vote November 5 to send Petersen packing!
My opponent has had nearly 20 years to do something for central Wisconsin, and he’s done nothing but toe the party line. In the Assembly, Kevin Petersen has voted to:
Outlaw abortion (12 times!).
Funnel tax dollars into private schools.
Reduce regulation of dangerous PFAS in our drinking water.
Exempt Wisconsin from common sense gun safety laws.
Prohibit collective bargaining for public employees.
I hope to earn your vote on November 5 and represent rural, progressive values in our state Assembly!
